SGS’s Chemical Solutions Laboratories in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Expand to Include Vitamin Testing

We have invested heavily in instrumentation and staffing, converting a large section of our already successful Harrisburg facility to address the growing demands of the US supplement industry. The development of this lab drew on the expertise of SGS’s internationally renowned center of excellence in Berlin, Germany, which has specialized technologists and state-of-the-art equipment for vitamin analysis.

For over 20 years, SGS’s Chemical Solutions Laboratories have been focused solely on heavy metals, minerals and trace elemental testing, with a particular focus on the dietary supplement industry. This expanded capability allows us to build upon this previous success by offering the dietary supplement industry extended testing services.

Brian LaBine, General Manager of SGS’s Chemical Solutions Laboratories, states: "We've always been known in the supplement industry as the top tier testing facility for heavy metals, minerals and trace elements. And while this specialization served us well, it also limited our offering to the supplement industry.
