SGS Environmental Services has begun to offer an innovative turn-key approach for on-site laboratory services in the United States. This service provides real time data in a TRIAD approach that can be used to help direct the course of a successful project.
On site laboratory services include modern fully contained, and outfitted mobile lab trailer units able to be transported on site or to a staging area. In addition to laboratory trailer units, SGS Environmental has the experience, and expertise to operate from existing available structures suitable for lab setup where they might exist.
Field operations are a costly part of any environmental remediation project. Fast reliable data is crucial to meeting project timelines and limit costly standby time. The TRIAD approach allows field staff to make decisions based on much more reliable data than traditional field test kits. This can be critical when approaching action limits during an excavation and has proven useful in giving assurance to on-site regulators that the correct decisions are being made.
Here is what one client has said about a current project:
“During my site visit on 17 July, I submitted a blind check sample to the field lab. The certified value was 15 mg/kg. The lab reported in DQCR-06 that the value they obtained was 14.3 mg/kg. The acceptance limits on the check sample were 6.41 - 17.5 mg/kg.
In other words, the lab was right on the money. Congratulations, all.”
