Understanding the characterization of your gold and silver ore body and establishing, de-risking and implementing a sustainable process to extract them is essential for project success. Ensuring you understand appropriate ore characterization, establishing a viable flowsheet, avoiding poor recoveries and reaching target production forecasts are just a few considerations in helping your precious metals project reach its full potential.

Grades are becoming lower making it harder for successful project economics to become a reality.  Specific technologies focus on precious metals recovery combined with traditional grinding, gravity separation, and leaching techniques, which have resulted in economical and cost-effective precious metal operations.

For the last 80 years, the mining industry has turned to SGS for our trusted precious metals expertise and experience in flowsheet development and bankable feasibility studies. We deliver a full range of support for all types of precious metals flowsheets which is provided by a team with the technical depth and breadth which is unrivalled globally.

Our demonstrated success in metallurgy has provided hundreds of companies and mines with effective flowsheets and practical technical solutions to processing problems.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

What you’ll learn in this webinar:

  • What is carbon-in-pulp and carbon-in-leach modelling and how it can be implemented into new and existing plant operations.
  • How plant modifications can have a significant impact on recovery rates.
  • Familiarization with common and innovative techniques for precious metals recoveries.
  • Techniques to re-disk precious metals projects from exploration through to production.

By the end of this webinar, you will be able to identify techniques and potential solutions to pivot your current precious metals projects and operations ensuring you are able to maximize every ounce produced daily!
