Using an inductively coupled plasma (ICP) spectrometer, we can identify 16 different minerals – each with its own purpose or potential impact. This not only reveals how certain minerals may affect feed rations, but also helps you determine the type and value of the necessary mineral supplements (e.g. phosphorus, calcium). It also allows you to monitor – and eliminate, or otherwise control – any minerals (such as lead and sulfur) that would be harmful to animals.
